Today, we headed up to Mt. Charleston, more than 8,000 feet above Las Vegas. The winding road climbed higher and higher, leading us to some of the most incredible overlooks of the Vegas Valley. Along the way, we enjoyed lush forests, spotted wild horses, and breathed in the cool mountain air—a welcome change from the desert heat below. With its scenic views and peaceful surroundings, Mt. Charleston felt like a completely different world just a short drive from the city.
